Dear honeybots
i wold say con grads to you on your 5 years recovery.

I am writing this from a great resource that I have found, the book is titled “Be a Survivor, Your guide to Breast Cancer Treatment” by Vladimir Lange MD
This is what he writes in response to your question:
“Even after the most complete treatment, there’s always a chance that cancer will recur, Most recurrences happen two or three years after surgery. The longer you go without a recurrence, the greater are you chances of remaining free of disease. But you can never say that the cancer has been completely cured.
Because of this possibility, you need regular follow -up visits with a healthcare professional. It could be your family physician, your oncologist, or your breast surgeon. What’s important is to have a single person in charge of the follow-up care. Usually you’ll be seen as often as every few weeks immediately after treatment, and perhaps only every sex months later on. There is no right schedule. Eventually, you will probably be down to a single annual visit.”
Hey honeypot their a web site cure zone where find other people with your condition just type breast cancer in the search box.
I am a 4 year Stage 2 breast cancer survivor. I see my oncologist every 6 months and will continue to do so for at least 7 years. You should consult with your oncologist as to how often you should be following up.
