I just found out that my aunt has moved up to stage 4 breast cancer that has spread to her liver, lymnode, leg, neck etc. I don’t know much about cancer and all I really want to know is what is the survival rate when you’ve reached stage 4? The doctors plan on Chemo therapy.

My aunt has been diagnosed with stage 4 aggressive breast cancer just recently. Her legs even broke because it metastisized to her bone. It’s in her organs too, like her liver. The doctors say she only has 6 months to live at the most. Is it possible that she could live longer? Is there anything I can do? I don’t want her to die and I’m really scared for her. :[

my mom 9years ago, on the 13th of this month, discovered she had breast cancer.
now, 9years later, the dr’s said her breast cancer cells are high, meaning its possible for her to get breast cancer again…
i was told along w/my family that after 7 years of clear she will be clear of breast cancer forever..but now there saying she is at high risk.
IF she does happen to get breast cancer again…what is the percentage of her survival rate again for the 2nd time?
plz i don’t want a guess..i want a real answer plz provide the source.
or even an experience i will take.
thank you
i’m just telling you excatly what they told my mom. you know how some doctors are they dont tell you the whole truth.

After a woman has a lumpectomy, does the doctors send her tumor over to a lab to have it examined to examine the cancer cells? What if there are no cancer cells present in the tumor does that mean that the woman has been misdiagnosed with having cancer? Also is a estrogen negative and progesterone negative faster growing tumors or slower growing and do all stage 1 breast cancer patients with this tumor have to have chemothrapy?

My mom found a lump, and the doctors told her it was benign. A month later, she went to the doctor and they told her that there were 3 others in addition and that she has Stage 4 breast cancer.
Does it really spread THAT fast, and if so. How long does she have to live. She’s known for 2 months now, and hasnt even started treatment. She’s so stubborn!
My family is doing everything we can to support her, short of physically committing her to the hospital…where she could always just check herself out, and walk out anyway.
Does Cancer really go from benign to stage 4 that quickly?!
Breast cancer is something women think they know all about: Look for lumps; have mammograms; see our doctors. But none of that will save you from one silent breast cancer killer that women know virtually nothing about. It’s called “inflammatory breast cancer,” and it’s something every woman must know about.

About 3 or 4 months ago my mom was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer. She had a mastectomy done about 2 weeks ago. It went well but she’s been very week lately and always getting sick. The doctors told her she’ll need radiology and possibly chemo. She also has something in her blood. I’m only 16 so I’m worried and it’s been depressing me. Anyone know anything?
